The Kesean Palmer Foundation was created from heartbreak — and transformed into hope. After the tragic loss of my son, Kesean Palmer, to gun violence, I made a commitment to honor his life by helping others heal from similar pain.
Our foundation exists to support families who have been affected by gun violence, offering them the tools, education, and community they need to rebuild their lives. What began as a personal mission has grown into a movement of love, resilience, and empowerment — one that uplifts families, educates youth, and inspires change.
At our core, we believe that every life lost to gun violence deserves a legacy of purpose, and every family deserves the opportunity to heal and rebuild. Through our programs, we focus on three pillars of impact:

Empowerment – Offering financial literacy education to help parents and individuals regain stability.
Opportunity – Supporting students through the KP17 Scholarship Fund, giving them access to higher education and a brighter future.
